About Us

Lawnower is a small lawn and garden tool shop run from Winnemucca, Nevada. We stock ten tools in two collections – cordless machines that do the heavy work, and forged-steel hand tools that finish it – and ship every order free anywhere in the United States.

Why the catalog is this short

Most lawn tool stores list four hundred products and can tell you almost nothing about any of them. We went the other way. Ten tools means we can describe each one properly: the deck width, the battery size, the blade steel, what it is good at and what it is not. If a tool is not on this site it is because we did not think it earned a place next to the others.

The two collections split cleanly. Power Lawn Tools holds the cordless machines – two mowers, a string trimmer, a hedge trimmer and a leaf blower – all built on brushless motors and lithium-ion packs. Pruning Tools holds the hand tools – loppers, hand pruners, hedge shears, a folding saw and a ratchet anvil pruner – all forged steel with parts you can replace instead of throwing the tool away.

What we look for in a tool

• Brushless motors. Fewer wearing parts, less heat and noticeably more run time from the same battery. Every cordless machine we sell uses one.
• One battery system per collection. The trimmer, hedge trimmer, blower and the 17 in. push mower all take the same 40V pack, so a spare battery covers four tools rather than one.
• Steel that holds an edge. High-carbon and SK5 blades, heat treated and coated so sap wipes off instead of gumming up the pivot.
• Replaceable wearing parts. Blades, springs and bumpers are sold separately. A pruner with a chipped blade should cost you a blade, not a new pruner.
• Weight you can actually carry. We handle every tool before listing it. A hedge trimmer that is unbearable at shoulder height after ten minutes does not go on the site.

How we ship

Shipping is free on every order to any United States address, with no minimum spend. We dispatch within 1 – 2 business days and transit takes a further 3 – 6 business days with USPS or UPS, so most orders land 4 – 8 business days after you place them. If it is not right

You have 30 days from delivery to send any unused tool back in its original condition and packaging for a refund to your original payment method. We also swap tools if you picked the wrong size, and we cover the return shipping whenever the fault is ours. The full detail is in the refund policy.

Talking to us

There is no ticket queue and no chatbot. Email or call and a person answers, usually the same day and always within 24 hours. If you are not sure whether the 17 in. push mower or the 21 in. self-propelled mower suits your yard, tell us the rough size and slope and we will tell you which one to buy – including when the answer is neither.
