Terms of Service

These terms apply every time you buy from lawnower.com. They are written to be read, not to be endured – the short version is that we ship free anywhere in the United States, you have 30 days to change your mind, and if something goes wrong we fix it.

1. Who you are dealing with

lawnower.com is run by MATIRSHOP LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Nevada, trading as Lawnower, 155 Eisenhower Ave, Winnemucca, NV 89445, United States. Our contact details are at the foot of this page and on our legal notice.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. We sell to consumers and to businesses at the same prices, and we ship to United States addresses only.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe every tool as accurately as we can, including deck width, blade length, battery voltage, capacity and weight. Photographs are representative; small differences in shade, moulding or packaging between production batches are normal and are not a defect. Where a specification changes, the product page is updated and the page you saw at the time of your order is what we are bound by.

4. Prices

All prices are in US dollars and are the final amount payable – shipping is free and nothing is added afterwards. We reserve the right to change prices, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted. If a price is obviously wrong through a typing or system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price; we will tell you as soon as we notice.

5. How a contract is formed

The product pages are an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order – it is not acceptance. A contract comes into existence only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot supply an item, we tell you and refund you in full.

6. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed by Stripe. Payment is taken when you place the order. The full detail is in our payment policy.

7. Delivery

Shipping is free to any United States address. We dispatch within 1 – 2 business days and transit takes 3 – 6 business days, so most orders arrive 4 – 8 business days after they are placed. Delivery timescales are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full terms are in our shipping policy.

8. Title

Ownership of the goods passes to you when we have received payment in full. Risk passes on delivery.

9. Returns and refunds

You have 30 days from delivery to return any unused item in its original condition and packaging for a refund to your original payment method. We accept exchanges and never charge a restocking fee. 10. Safe use of the tools

The products we sell have blades, moving parts and, in the case of the cordless machines, motors capable of causing serious injury. Read the manufacturer’s instructions before first use, wear eye protection and stout footwear, keep hands and feet clear of blades, and remove the battery before cleaning, adjusting or unblocking any machine. Keep tools away from children. We are not responsible for injury or damage caused by use that ignores the instructions supplied with the tool.

11. Warranty

Products are covered against manufacturing defects. Contact us with your order number and photographs and we will arrange a repair, a replacement or a refund. Normal wear – a blunt blade, a battery whose capacity has fallen after long service, scuffed paint – is not a defect, and damage from misuse, disassembly or unauthorised repair is not covered. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some limitations may not apply to you. This gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

12. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for business losses – lost profit, lost contracts, lost opportunity – because we supply these products for domestic and garden use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Events outside our control

If a strike, extreme weather, carrier failure, supplier failure or another event outside our reasonable control delays your order, we will tell you and agree a new date with you, or refund you in full if you prefer not to wait.

14. Website use

The content of this site – text, photographs, product descriptions and the Lawnower name – belongs to us. You may print or download extracts for your own use, but you may not republish, resell or systematically copy any part of it. We do our best to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.

15. Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think somebody else has used it. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.

16. Complaints and disputes

Something wrong? Write to us first with your order number – we answer every email within 24 hours and we would far rather resolve a problem directly than argue about it. There is no mandatory arbitration clause in these terms: if we cannot agree, either of us is free to go to court, and nothing here prevents you using your state’s small claims process.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Consumers retain any non-waivable rights and protections available under the laws of their state of residence.

18. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to insist on a term at one time does not waive it later. These terms, together with the refund, shipping, payment, cookie and privacy policies, are the whole agreement between us.

19. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it; the date at the top of this page shows the current version.
